G.N.M. (General Nursing and Midwifery)

Duration:

GNM course is of 3 year duration including internship.

Admission Criteria & Eligibility

Admission Criteria Medium of instruction:

English

SEX:

Course for both female and male candidate.

AGE:

at the time of admission minimum age is 17 years or should complete 17 year in December month of admission year. Maximum age limit is 35 years.

Educational Qualification:

  • 10+2 with English and must have obtained of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from state open school recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However science is preferable.
  • 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
  • 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care science from recognized CBSE board/State/Centre.
  • Registered ANM with pass mark.

Physical Standard:

The candidate must produce certificate of physical and mental healthy for any registered medical officer. No maternity or abortion leave is permissible during course, in such conditions student has to discontinue her course for that particular session.

Candidates Should Encloses The Following Documents With Application Form -

  • Mark list of 10th Class.
  • Mark list of 12th Class.
  • School transfer certificate(TC) (Orginal)
  • Character certificate.
  • Domicile certificate.
  • Migration certificate (Orginal)
  • Medical certificate.
  • Samagra ID, Aadhar Card, PAN Card.
  • Parents Aadhar Card
  • Gap Certificate (Original)
  • Cast certificate from eligible authority if belong to ST SC OBC, all certificate should be signed by competent authority.
  • Income certificate.
  • Address proof
  • Caste certificate.
  • Six passport size photographs
  • Two stamp size photographs.
  • Affidavit of name change. (if applicable)
  • Soft copies of all documents including photos.

NOTE:

At the time of admission candidate is required to submit all original documents which will be returned after verification from the state Council.
